I currently use a Microsoft Cordless (Bluetooth) mouse and I find that it is not great. Usually when I am drawing boxes in photoshop or painting. I am thinking of a trackball, I am presuming they have alot more control only having to move the ball as and when required.

Would love to hear some opinions!
I just use a corded laser mouse. I don't do very precise PP, I don't really like PP all that much. But that's just me.
i use a Wacom Intuos drawing tablet. If you want good control that allows you to outline something or paint a picture precisely how you want it to be, this is the only way to go.

I need to process at least a few hundred pictures every week , there is no way i can live without a Wacom!!
it'll take you a while to get used to a Wacom, (just like how you learn to use your mouse) but once you get used to it, it's just feel like drawing on the photo directly

Wacom? How much did you pay and is there a specific model you use or recommend?

I was thinking of trackball, as if I let go, it stays where it is. I can just move it a little without it flicking. Laser mouse, if I move a little, sometimes it JUMPS depending on the surface, hence looking for something more precise.
i'm using a Intuos3 6 x 8
it's quite good
i think intuos4 has just came out not too long ago. haven't check what's the real difference (apart from the cosmetic changes)

Wacom tablets rule ! You can pick any model it's so much better then mouse !
Intuos looks like the one to get. The Bamboo looks like the next range down.

WOW< look at the prICE!!!!!
yes.. anything from Wacom is better than mouse. Obviously the more expensive model is better, but even the Bamboo isn't too bad
