VR II is apparently 4-stop and the price is about US 3,500. WOW!!
my first reaction when looking at the price of 70-200VRII was [oh "dear"]!
Pricing for US has come out. It is being released in November 2009 at the price of US2,399. Not as expensive as I thought.
VR II over VR I really isn't that important to me.
I'm only interested in the picture quality
I'll wait till some reviews out and see if the improvement in PQ worths the increase in price tag over the already expensive current model.
$$$ wise, its still $400US or 25% ish more than the previous version. Is $400 US or 25% worth it for just more corner sharpness and 1 stop of VR, I don't think so. Well not yet! hahaa
