Snoots are used to channel light in to a direct beam. This stops unwanted light from spilling all over the place. It also allows you to light a specific area only.
This is my home made snoot. Took 2 seconds to make. I just took a used coffee box and opened the bottom for it to become a tube and I just stuck it on the flash. There are professional products that do a much better job, but also cost alot more.
This is FREE. Who doesn't like FREE?
