yeah one big reason i haven't bought a ep1 yet is that i'm waiting for the new Panasonic equivalent camera to come out.
I'm really impressed by the latest panasonic cameras in the last 24 months so i've big hope on this coming model.. hopefully the price won't be too expensive (consider that ep1 is really expensive already!!)

oh yes i definitely want a FM2/FE2 (black one for me!) with a FF sensor... just keep the same classic look, compact size, i don't mind it doesn't have many features.. i mean even if it's MF only with old split prism viewfinder i might still buy one (more excuse for me to go hunt some good old MF lenses) !!! I guess a lot of people will be the same too..
Nikon are you listening? Wink

Sasim

Oh so so true I can go full manual too!
And yes BLACK!

And about Panasonic I almost bought LX3 yesterday Tongue

If the price drop to level of Nikon d90 price I will get it with no time
this http://www.photovillage.com/product.php?...stseller=Y + many many leica lens are my dream toys. and should be a killer for street photography Smile
LX3 is a damn nice compact camera. As i've said in the compact camera forum, LX3 is really still the king of compact in my opinion.
24mm wide angle, F2.0 - F2.8, good high ISO performance, 720p video, 3" LCD, RAW file, all in a compactish size and sexy looking body. and the photo quality is as good as the spec sheet!!! It's really hard to find any major faults with this camera (apart from that it's quite hard to find one in some countries due to the high demand!)

i'm very interested in getting a rangefinder.. my ideal street/every day camera.
but looking at the price of the Nikon Rangefinders. especially the black S3 but man, i can buy a D3 for the price of a S3 :/
even a well used S2 is $600+ US

If you need help finding something or the LX3, I am sure I can find it in Japan. Smile

Sasim

yeah Japan is cool place to buy slr...

Just wonder how much shiping cost will be to Poland.. and safety of package..
CTM: stop offering help!!! without external help, I'm already really capable of spending my money on camera gears
now, let me know if you see another copy of 135 DC lens show up haaaaa
i have a 105DC if you are interested Smile

Sasim

I've got it !!!

I was looking in old stuff and I found this:

This is old 50mm lens it's slow f/3.5

But it's 1,5cm !!! When I "put" it on d60 it was SO light and so portable. I wanted a small lens to put on d60 and just have my d60 all the time with me!

This lens is 39 years and it look BRAND NEW!

Now I need get adapter and I can rock that thing !
