Here they are.
Shot with 1 SB-28 fired in to Photoflex 45" Umbrella
I personally think the DOF is too thin, I should have shot at a smaller aperture.
Not bad!
i actually like the super narrow DOF in the last shot. Eye is so sharp and everything is blurred.
Thanks for the comments!
Here are a few more.
Thanks for looking!
#2 from first post is realy realy NICE!
Nice photos! Love the bokeh!
very sharp. I can see all the details on the skin!!
Maybe try a more dramatic lighting next time?
Nice Shots CTM
it sharp as a katana!!!!!!!!!
but for portraits is it way too sharp? for a close up. that sharpness will show all the details on the skin... or does it requires some HDMI make up skills
especially pic #1.
Too sharp? I have never heard of that! haha. Maybe I should trade it in for something NOT so sharp? hahaha. THanks for the comments guys!
I have to say, that 85/1.4 is rather sharp, maybe too sharp for portrait.
I agree the photos are a bit too sharp for portrait. I know my customers won't be happy at all if i give them photos like this
It doesn't matter if you got kick-ass lighting, creamy bokeh, nice contrast and colour, good composition blah blah blah. the first thing they normally look at is whether their skin looks good, do they look slim in the photo ha ha ha..
Thats true. Most clients only care "how they look" in the final image.
How do you un-sharpen sharp shots???????
