Day 5 Sept 5th 2009 - Chloe

Just a photo from this morning's photoshoot for the 6 month old Chloe. No flash (i don't use camera flash when taking photo of small baby), one constant studio light. Convert from RAW to JPG in Lightroom. exposure adjustment. No other editing or adjustment.

Day 6 Sept 6th 2009 - Life

This photo was taken at my parent's back garden with only ambient light. I took the original photo in early afternoon. but I was not very happy with the result. So i retook the photo later not too long before sunset. And I love the light quality in this photo a lot more. WB was set to cloudy to get warmer tones. Underexposed by 1EV to bring out the saturation and texture. Straight JPG from camera with no editing.

It was a relatively quick photo, took me less than 10 minutes. Handheld my SB900 off camera. Triggered by D700's internal flash. TTL mode -0.3. WB Set to Tungsten. Manual focus set to nearest.
Straight JPG from camera, no editing.
