This is a alternative to the NIkkor 14-24 and costing much less, anybody here used one or has any experience with one???

I just bought one! Should get it on Tues or Wednesday! woohoo. Save myself some $$$ on the 14-24.

wide open edges Nikon seems a lot better. But overall the Tamron seems to give decent PQ.
Consider the price difference, Tamron seems like a good buy!

I will do a test when I receive it.

It cost me US $230 vs $1600 approx for the 14-24. So its about 15% of the price!
