What you think about 50 1.8 for C?
My friend wanna get one its 4 times cheaper in poland then f/1.4
So would you recommend it?

Uummm.. its build quality is pretty crap. Its made of cheap plastic. The focus motor isn't USM / AF-S. Its noisy and hunts alot. BUT for the price, its not bad. The 50/1.4 from Canon isn't that great either. If you were serious, go the 50/1.2 L. hahaha.
I personally feel between the 50/1.8 II and 50/1.4, the 1.8 is much better value for money (for canon).
I just sold the 50/1.8 II in the picture above for about $68 USD.
