Is he getting insecure with the new sony offerings? hahaha (joke)

This is hilarious:
Quote:This seems like an appropriate time to repeat my oft-made and quoted remark: "If you can't take good photos that print to the maximum size of the desktop inkjet printers (13x19"), then it isn't the camera." That quote applies to all current DSLRs I see available, whether Nikon, Canon, Sony, Olympus, or Pentax. Thus, I don't get the "I'm going to switch" comments. Moreover, it's not economically reasonable to switch, no matter how inexpensive the cameras on the other side are. Doesn't anyone do cost/benefit analysis any more?

Then the next 5 bullet points are as well. Smile hahaha

The same can be said for Canon and their Megapixel race.

One thing he missed though, if people don't spend their money, the circle of MONEY doesn't go round and round and round. hehehe.

I switched to Sony NOT becouse I didn't master D60.

a200 is cheaper, got better af, better m42 support, better handling, better buttons placements, stabilization in body is wonderful.

Funny things can be said about Nikon aswell: "Oh you went Nikon becouse it makes you feel pro", there noobs there that are thinking "Only Canon and Nikon" those are more noobs then anything in industry.
I think most cameras do a decent job regardless of brand. Most users are not even exploring the cameras full capability!

But I feel like all toys, spending money, talking about it is almost as much fun as taking shots!

Most who have Lamboghinis i doubt fully utilise them to 100%.

Bythom has a point though, a valid one.
