Okay, I have been strongly suggested by Richard that I participate in the 1 photo a day thing that you guys are doing.
I am going to be using 1 lens with a fixed focal length, and try to take 1 photo per day out of all randomness, and no post process.

Day 01 - Signs of Spring
[Image: 090913Day01.JPG]

This was what motivated me in joining in. I was walking to my back yard today putting the rubbish in the bin and I saw this Dandelion standing there all alone. Is this the sign that spring is finally coming?

Shot with 24-70mm @ 70mm
ISO: 50
f2.8
1/200s
1 remote flash placed behind the subject at 45 degrees @ 1/64th power.

Straight image out of camera, no process.
I like it.
What exactly did you focus on?
Looks great Andy, a very good start!

Good to see more people giving it a try. It's fun exercise and can probably help you improve your photo skills and learn more about your camera.
Nice photo! Smile Good to see you start!

So you going to be using your 24-70 at 70mm all the time for the challenge?
A what andy? That's not a dandelion? Tongue
Day 02 - Quench the Thirst

I had to go straight to a restaurant for dinner after my shoot today so I had my camera gear with me. While we were waiting for our meals to arrive, I am starting to think, damn I haven't had my shot of the day done yet. So I quickly try to think for ideas using available resources, and this is what I
came up with.

Again, no post process, straight out of camera image.

Shot with 24-70mm @ 70mm
ISO: 50
f22
1/250s
1 remote flash placed directly beneath the glass @ 1/128th power.
Nice and abstract.
You put the glass on the flash and held it up and fired the shot with the other hand? hahahaha.. Smile I presume somebody else was pouring the sprite in to the glass?

Nice nice! Smile F22 .... Big Grin
Could have ended in tears... Big Grin
