"I've said it before, but I was reminded again today just how incredible the battery endurance of the D3 (and D2x and D2hs) can be.
I took over 15,000 photos today and I still had 10 % battery charge left.
And believe it or not, the D300 is even more efficient in it's power consumption. I added the battery grip to my D300 and put an EN-EL4a battery in the grip and without touching the charge in the D300 "internal" battery I got 12,000 shots and still had 44% battery life left in the EN-EL4a battery. With those numbers I would estimate I could get about 20,000 shots out of one battery in the D300 ! Wow."
Wow 15000 shot and still 10% battery left??
and 15000 shots a day!!!???
and D300 can get 12000 shot with 44% battery left???
Is the EN-EL4a battery a magic? Or is there some tricks to increase battery life?
