Enjoy~
HI all

if anyone been to the website above. HOW can the guy photoshop the model's skin so so so so so so Smooth!!!!!

I would be great someone could give me a tutorial~~~

Cheers
there are millions way to make the skin look smoother in photoshop.. some methods only take you 30 seconds and some can take you 30 minutes or more.

here is a relatively easy method which give you okay results in 2 minutes:
use lasso tool to select the skin area you want to smooth. remember only select the skin
copy and paste as a new layer
apply Gaussian blur to that layer .. radius approx 5-20 pixel really depends on the photo type and resolution... you want to use a radius that is just enough to hide the "imperfections" on the skin
add 0.3-0.5% noise to that layer to make it look more natural
lower the opacity to approx 70% to blend it in a bit with the orginal skin.
Thx for your tutorial Yellow. let me have a try now~~~~~
OOOOOOOOOkey everyone...

According to the editing provided from Yellow. I edited one of my friends photo WITHOUT any permission from she.. hahaha.

The Gear that i was using is
Canon 400D + Sigma 24-60mm F2.8...
ISO 200
S/S 1/250
F5.6

and Here's the result

Of course. to have a comparison, i have an original shot

What i have done:

1. I followed the procedures of what Yellow gave me. it simple, easy to follow and it does success. I successfully soften and smooth out the skin~
** I selected all the skin included face and Neck, **

2. After i smoothed the skins, i found out the skin colour is a bit DARK. It's like my friend been poisoned.......so i start playing around with hit. and i end up...
** follow the similar procedures of Yellow. but i filled with White colour**
I doesn't know where my ideas is coming from, i just want to give it a go and see what's happen.

As i don't see much improvement... i start playing around..
3. After that i added a bit of pink at the cheekbone area.. just for some creation

Please give me some feedback about what i have done wrong. Why the skin become darker after i smooth the skin out..

Cheers~~~~~
Post up a photo of a face portrait and let us edit so you can learn.

So we can do a before and after.

The Shot maybe just of the face and in focus and prefer with pores being visuble so that the effect of skin fix can be seen.

You can also cheat with portait professional
This was done with portrait professional v6. I personally use PHOTOSHOP, but this is just to show what it can do. It can change facial structure which is rather neat.

Don't fill the picture with white or any colour , filling colour will only screw up the picture unless you really know what you are doing.

If you want to adjust the brightness, use the curve/exposure/levels adjustment

your picture should not be any darker/lighter with the method i suggest.

if it's darker, it probably means you selected some dark area from surrounding (like hair, eyes..etc) that you shouldn't suggest and you selected too large radius when using Gaussian blur

If you post up a large sample, i can show you what i can do.
your result from Portrait Professional seems a bit too overdone.
the skin looks a bit too plastic to me
Wrong: Thx for your comments. i will keep practice the editing till i got it~
