Hi all.

With Uncle Kevs moolah, I am looking to get a new PC (this one wont open MS Word...). Below is what I am looking at. Please give me some advice on whether you think they are alright (and if all the parts would all work together). In both builds the case, keyboard, mouse and speakers are fairly generic.

PC 1. INTgamesEL

PC 2. AMD

According to itestate.com.au the prices for the above would be PC 1: $1054 and PC 2: $952

I would go INTEL.

I would probably pay a bit more and upgrade to a 22" monitor, 1TB HDD and 4GB ram (in this order if you have limited budget)

From my opinion you should go with the Intel processor.Because it has more features then the others.And more importance the less price and better performance.

PC1's a bit more expensive being Intel and a better proccessor. I would go for PC1 but then again its a $100 more.

I agree with wrong. [That line sounds strange.] Should get a more capacity on the HDD, 1TB or more and more than 2GB RAM. I would go with a 24" monitor. Again, if it's within your budget. The bigger monitor makes photo editing much more easier.

I think you should go with assemble .. In that you have your own choices for parts and also you got some benefit in price also.
