IQ probably not good enough for formal wedding portraits or if you want to win any photo competitions.
but it should be more than good enough for paparazzi, and a lot of pjs.

Nikon D3 series are best and It will work well till new release.
I have a Nikon D300 and the images resolution are best of them.

Looking at that shot at over 102,000 ISO. It is still better than having a BLUR shot. It may not be the prettiest, but sure beats having a whole lot of blur.

I am waiting for the D4.

Are you planning on getting one?
