thanks peeps.
as always, comments and critique is welcome.
I like the Tuna shot too.
Oh how I miss fresh fresh Tuna.
C&C please.
i quite like the 1st shot too. but the latern seems not really sharp? where did you focus on?
for the 2nd picture..i would want to see a bit of the face of that lady.. right now i feel the picture is lacking a main focus
thanks guys.
1st shot was a 'hip shot' so to speak. The lantern was quite high up. I just put the focus point on the far right and this is what I got from an outstretched arm. I think I need to stop down a bit more. I'm still obsessed with wide-open apertures!
(also I think I was on the 'servo AF' setting which evidently was not quite right for the situ. New cam + newb = soft photo)
2nd shot was very spur of the moment. Not quite confident enough to take photos of strangers yet (ala yellow15 style). I thought you guys might have noticed my funny PP. The woman was really underexposed so I had a lil play in PS to see if I could lighten her. Just made the photo look a bit 'off'. May have made her a bit too bright.
don't really notice the funny PP you mentioned to be honest?
hey dikaru, yeah taking photos of strangers can always make you feel quite nervous.. especially when you using a shorter lens. But you'll feel great when you took a nice street photo of some strangers! (do i sound like i'm a bit sick? LOL)
unedited. photobucket may be darkening a lil but the sky was really that red.
