I am back! The photos will be posted soon, once I return home. I am currently still in China. I am posting here, because what I have to say relates closely to the trip! I am using a borrowed computer at the moment.

Firstly, the D700 and D90 performed flawlessly! I went through sand, snow and extreme temperatures from cold to hot. I went from mountains to lakes to the desert. I got about 1,100 - 1,200 shots per charge on the D700. It was very dry and very dusty, I tried to NOT change lenses if I could help it. I am really glad the bodies are pretty dust resistant.

The trip took me from my starting point in Japan to Guangzhou in China. I then flew from Guangzhou to Xi'an. From Xi'an we travelled to Lanzhou and via road all the way west to Urumqi. Total of 2,500km.

Sorry for the delay. I couldn't be bothered editing the shots, so I just batched process them with "auto tone" in Lightroom and just watermarked them.
