according to NikonRumour.com,
D300s and D300 will be announced at the Nikon press conference on 30th July.

Lets see what lenses are released at the same press conference.

This is what a user on DPReview forum says:

1st Aug:

AF-S VR II 2,8/70-200 mm with Nano for FX
AF-S VR DX 18-200 mm Mark II
D-300 s
D-3000

October:

1,4/35 mm and 1,4/24 mm both FX lenses


Let's see if this is real or not..
I'm interested in the 24mm 1.4!

They are going to release a 70-200 F2.8 VR II.

24 1.4 will be EXPENSIVE!
35 1.4 will be expensive TOO!!!!

I am looking for a wide prime.

a 16mm f/1.4 would be cool

hm... wondering why Nikon is going to release a new 18-200 so soon?

No idea, but I am guessing they sell alot of those.

the entry level market is huge. This is THE lens for a lot of DSLR first buyers. People are so keen in having the full focal length covered with one lens.

with the new release today, the primes are looking promising...they are the deal breakers for a lot of Canon users who are thinking of switching. after all, 1.4 primes are just magic...the 24mm will be stunning!

I agree they are deal breakers, I bet they are also 'bank breakers'. hahahahaha.
