Alright~~~~~

Finally~~~ I tried my first portraits photoshoot.

First of all. need to thx to couple of people..

Needs to Thanks

--> Ivy, model of the day
--> DRAW Photography, Organiser, technical support and Instructor for the photoshoot of the day
--> YellowS15, technical support and consultant
--> CTM, technical support and adviser

Gear:
Nikon D90

Feeback:

It is a completely new story of taking portraits for people.. it's fun and exciting.

Need to be very careful with lighting as the brightness of light always change. I was completely don't know what to do at the beginning, it's lucky that DRAW was there as a lecturer and providing instruction. so i can start learning and doing the photoshoot.

Result:

I did not do a very good job. i only select the phone that i really really like to upload. post processing is very very minor. hope everyone enjoy of my work.

50 F1.8D
M mode
CTM: the CLS is really quite easy to use. however, sometime the flash does not receive the signal. which create a bit of drama. as model pose and smile might different everytime. so if the flash doesn't flash, i wasted the model's pose.

However, it's good that DRAW keep guiding me through the photoshoot section. so nothing much that is too dramatic.

DAVIS: thx for your comment, i will keep it up~~~
Cheers for the info.
I did a few shots with my 50 f1.8 this weekend myself.
What apperture do you find gives you the best results for portrait shots?
At f2 1/4000 for example I struggled to get sharp images. Oh well..
F2 is not sharp enough for the models face.....

as i duno how to use high speed sync of that day. i'm using my Aperture to control my background only.

my shots maybe F 4.5 or 5.6?? forgot already
well, my shot also lost the sharpness after uploaded. if i look at my shot in my computer, it's very sharp
Nice shots! Keep them coming Smile
Really really nice!!

Yeah, I got much better results in the mid-rangle myself.
To be expected though.
Thanks for sharing, SGTTS.
