I'm paying around $90 a month for 18gb, but it's on wireless Sad

I'm on Telecom's new Big Time plan. It's not a wireless plan though, so you'll have to use it at home.

It's actually $59.95 by itself so it's cheaper than what I thought it was.

@CTM: Mine is unlimited but I have slow internet and pay about 120 NZD including home phone per month

Considering your test was ~650mi away from Auckland, your speed is still pretty decent. Do you get your internet slowed down after a certain amount of bandwidth?

@ Joseph, 18gb a month isn't much at ALL!

Nope, I can download as much as I want. But it gets a bit slower between 9am - 2am. That's when I did that speed test, in the later hours of the day, it goes up to a pretty decent speed.

D/L speed seems not too bad.
but what's up with my upload speed!!??
That isn't too bad. Is that from your office or home?

You are less than 50 miles from the server, should be pretty fast.

But I seem to see that the ping is in the 50-100 ms range.

Mine is the opposite, if I am on wireless, my upload is faster than download.

I wonder if I'll ever see a speed beyond 10Mbps? Maybe in 10 years time.. when the rest of the world are already on 1Gbps
Is that the Celcom Wireless thing? I tried it previously and it was really slow. I use to get like 10kb / sec MAX!!!! But cool thing is, it would work anywhere!
CTM, where in the world are you?
He's in Nagoya, Japan, I think.
I am in Nagoya, Japan. Not far from you Shigzeo.
