A tribute to my trusty nikon D700 for reaching 10,000 shots.

The theme today is "Fear". I bought an orange jumper a while back and had it on today, so the idea came to me from the movie "The Village" where there is a 'red creature'.

As usual, this is a self portrait. I don't have anybody to take. So I placed a light stand where I would stand and focused. I then re-positioned the light stand an arm length away from myself and put on a home made gridspot with an orange gel. Power at 1/32.

This last shot, I don't really know if it works or not. Maybe a little too much noise. (not from the D700, but from PS).

Great work on the self portrait. I like the 1st shot too.

Few more shots. I added a little noise in PS and sharpened slightly. The face was brightened slightly.

very nice pictures, reminds me of AC too ... like the subtle light as well. And congrats to your 10.000 shots, I'm currently at 12.000 with my D700 and I think it's time to get sensor-cleaned and checked ... but, sigh - I just can't give it away at the moment )
