It's quite interesting that there was a sudden increase in new lens release since 2007

wonders what will be in the 2010 release list??

my guess is:

85 f/1.4
135 f/2 DC
a fast wide angle prime
80-400's replacement..

not sure what else?

Do you think its because of their sudden rise in the demand of nikon slr bodies? As well as the introduction of FX?

85/1.4 and 24/1.4 sometime in Q1, 2010.

New 100-500 4-5.6 IF-ED VR to replace the 200-400.

Maybe a 28-300?
