First time shooting firework.

I am still not sure how to control the exposure. The photos below are RAW --> photoshopped with ++++ black and ++ contrast.

Black card - didn't make much use of it

Position - bad, headwind = smoky. The buildings are hardly visible during the display. You can see the original skyline on the first photo.

And it's freaking freezing...Angry

It was interesting that the forum only allowed 10 photos per message, I only had 10 and it said I had 11...so I the last one is here.

Nice firework show!!
Thanks for sharing
OOOOOOOOk...as per request now reloaded to Flickr and links updated. Photos should be bigger now.
Nice set! Even though you had to boost it up in photoshop, they turned out really nicely! I enjoyed looking through them
Nice shots!!! Big Grin thanks for sharing! I can even see the Grand LIsboa in the background. Big Grin hehe
nice shots.
i personally would overexpose the pictures by at least 1 stop as i like to see the buildings in the background glowing for this kind of shots..
oh and such an awesome firework show!
I thought about that, but when I overexpose the whole sky would become greyish/whitish because of the lingering smoke...
hm.. oh well.. damn the stupid pollution/cloud/whatever
Nice shots 80c80~

keep it up~
