For those interested in how it would perform I was in a helicopter a few days ago and decided to try a short video with the D90 , and 18-105 VR lens - this is the result .

It was a small helicopter with a lot of bumping around for the record .....

looks like the weather was great for a helicopter ride!

It is very nice there - just not so nice during holiday season when it is swarming with tourists [ like me ] !

Well I'm sure in the 15 minute flight we never went over any other countries .
