Looks like a good day.

A slower shutter speed could be used for the action shots to make them look like the cars are in motoion.
Lol @ the stig!

Are there many good shooting places at Hampton?
Looks like fun day! #4 and last one would be my favoruite out of this set of photos.

Try shot action shots in Shutter Priority mode next time, and set the shutter speed to around 1/60 to 1/80s , then pan the camera with the cars.
Remember to start panning at least half a second before you take the shot and keep on panning for another half a second more after you took the shot.
Thanks for the feedback and tips..
I'm still trying different things to see what works best, I'll try those settings next time Richard and see how I go..

Hampton Downs has quite a few good places to shoot from Joseph, a lot of the corners have banking for spectators to view from, so getting a decent spot is not that hard.. However I'd still love to have "Media" access and get really close.. Big Grin

Phil..
#2, that is one short exhaust pipe...

Some of the motion shots look a little blur. I would do the opposite by going with a faster shutter speed to freeze action if the cars are coming towards you.

Good to see a McLaren F1 on the circuit too! They are awesome.
nice shot....!!
