no, i think i've never shot in S size at all.
if i want a smaller size, i just do a batch resize to exactly what i want in photoshop

Yeah, I'm not the best photographer, I need as much as i can get to crop in photoshop hah

I was just going through some of my shots and there is a large segment of them are just "snapshots" and hardly need cropping. I was just wondering if anybody else out there thought, taking shots like that at L would be a waste of storage and extra work having to resize them smaller in order to share or send.

I have never shot in S, agree with the others to resize later. Another thing you could do is shoot in normal or low quality. Apparently the difference between Fine and normal are very very minimal, but the size savings are quite a lot!!
