yes "educated guess" would be the right word.

thanks for the latest test pics, do you think you can redo the same test with a human model or even a plastic doll to show if there is any difference in the "quality" of light when you fire straight forward compare to using a bounce card when shooting outdoor?

I'm going to stick my neck out here and state that you will not see a difference !
I don't have any human models - perhaps you could do some tests ?Smile .
Later on today I could do some with "Stinky" , my model but basically when you are using fill flash nobody is going to see that difference in the pictures - I can almost guarantee it .... almost .
