I used a Canon EF 90-300 on my EOS 40D.
It is a bit of a budget lens but I was given it so I am not complaining. Smile

I had a lot of trouble keeping the buggy's in focus as they move really fast.

those little RC cars are very hard to capture as they are small, very fast and highly unpredicitable. you did a great job!
