Do you guys know if theres is a serial no. on every Nikon(Nikkor) lense? Because I cannot seem to find one on my AF 28 mm/f2.8 which is kinda weird ...
as far as i know, there must be a serial no on every nikon lens that is visible from outside.
but sometimes they are quite hard to see.. (small font, in quite hidden place) so have a look again.?
Sometimes on the inside of the rear lens element. Every lens should have a Serial Number as Yellow15 has pointed out.
