Thought it would be fun for people to post their action/panning shots with the lowest shutter speed possible! Person with the clearest photo with the slowest shutter wins! And the prize is a big thumbs up from me! Haha. Please also mention what camera used.

Ill start off with 1/25 on my D60, Am going to another drift event this Sunday so will try and go even slower.

i give you a thumb up first!

need to go back to my old HDD and see what i got... probably just 1/15-1/25th second as well
okay too lazy to find my HDD, this is what i found from my flickr stream... the slowest is this one (although it's not really that clear)

D200 1/15s 160 mm

but then i have to say the pictures i like the most are usually the one with a bit faster shutter speed, so the background isn't completely blurred and i can still see some details in the background, something like this
I'm 99% sure this is at 1/15

one from the latest Honda City ad,

canon 5dmkII, canon 70-200 f2.8 IS II, a few 580exII trigger with PW
1/13 sec, iso 2500, hand held at 145mm

very minimum post process, only high pass, minor color correction, and some noise reduction.
nice shot EGD. the lighting is so beautiful.

just curious, why you handheld and shoot at high ISO for a commercial ad picture?
good question, i was actually pushing my luck. i already had the shots i needed, so was kind of playing around before packing up. the speedlites were also getting low on battery, so high iso to get the very last bit of power out of them.

cheers
dave
now beat this! Tongue

Panasonic GF1 handheld
1/6sec 45mm (90mm equivalent)

the front of the truck is actually quite sharp even viewing at 1:1

straight JPG from camera.. no editing
