This year's TIPA award was just announced...
while Nikon didn't win anything for it's entry model/consumer lineup, it has won both professional awards.

The professional DSLR award: Nikon D3s

and the professional lens awards: Nikon AF-S 70-200 f/2.8G VRII

Nikon's low/mid end cameras are really old now, they really need to release the new model soon to remain competitive.

but to be honest, i'm a bit surprised the professional DSLR award is awarded to D3s (which is just a updated 3 year old D3) not the brand new 1D Mk4

I personally didn't think the 1D Mk IV was that great of a release. I am eagerly waiting the release of the D4!!

I believe the superb low-light performance which took it home for the D3s.
