Here is a photoshoot I did today. Just a quick one.

All with D700 and 50/1.4 and SB-600 on CLS at -0.3 Flash Exposure Compensation.

I know some of you are going to comment on it being a little on the contrasty side, I wanted it that way. I thought it emphasized the frame and bling bits.

Comments and Critique as usual.

why sorry? the pictures are very cool! so is the bike!!!
i like the processing too. match the bike
Cool photos i like the high contrast.

Did you only have the 50mm lens with you? I reckon the last two photos would look even better if it was shot with your 70-200 at the long end.
Yeah, I only had the 50mm. I only had 1 sb600 too. If I had umbrella and stands and all that, I think would have gotten better results. Thanks for the comments! Glad you like it!
Why the -0.3 FV??
Because I left it in TTL mode. I find that it tends to Over Expose. So I turn it down.
my fav is #3.

more mysterious. highlights details more.
I like 1 and 3 the most.
very nice pictures and this compliment is coming from someone, who doesn't feel vehicles at all Wink But on the last picture something weird is happening in the Boke, some glow going on around here ...
Thanks Belmont, I didn't know if the glow or lighter parts would compliment or distract from the image. I thought it might look too 'saperated' from the background without the highlighted glow bits to make it fit in to the background.

I am glad you like it.
