i was checking the Yahoo Japan Auction site recently as well, price for brand new one from auction is between from 135000 - 145000 yen..
which is US$1,470 - 1,580
then still need to add shipping + tax :/
okay just talked to the shop.. they have confirmed with me a few times earlier that my 135DC will arrive earlier this week. So i called them up this morning and asked them if i can go pick it up.
They said no they haven't receive it yet. and then they called up Nikon and Nikon told them no it hasn't even arrive the country yet. Earliest would be end of next month.
Argghhhhh...

Another month passed and another shipment arrived and still no sign of my 135DC.
And even worse, still no one can tell me if my lens will arrive next month or when it will arrive.
I've cancelled my order and i'm officially unhappy now.

yes i can.. but i normally always try to buy from local shops to support them and also get better support in return in case something goes wrong.
But i'm quite unhappy this time.. so yeah i went to B&H website last night and ordered one............................................ Nikon 28-300mm VR
Seems like quite a different lens yellow15! What was the rationale behind that choice if you don't mind me asking? Just looking for an easy all in one since you couldn't get the 135?
