Earlier today during a photoshoot, after i took a few test shots and got the settings right, i showed the client the test shot pictures. He was quite happy with it and then said:

"Your camera takes nice photos!"

Sure this is not the first time i heard of this sentence.. and i believe most of you have similar experience... so what is your reaction and how do you feel when you hear this?

Haha yeah I get that a bit.

To a certain point it is true, a DSLR on auto will take better looking photos than a compact on the same settings.

Roo: yes what you said is true. And i'm sure the people who said it (usually) just want to praise the photo we've took. But still it gives me a mixed feeling ..

i just prefer it the other way round..

when i take a bad photo, i just say "it's not me, it's just my camera is not good enough"
