Stranger [12] [Explore!]

yesterday i sold my D700 with along with my fav 50mm 1.4,.so sad
i`m in kinda short of money situation right now >.<
but stranger project must go on!
and i need to find a new cheap proper lens and camera
well anyway today i just grab a nikon D40 and 35mm 1.8 used items
for that combo i pay for around 400 buck`s,..cheap isn`t!?
and straight after i leave the camera shops
i tested it too TUKANG PARKIR outside the camera shops
(TUKANG PARKIR is equavalient with parking machine in other countries)

me:sir can i take your picture
he:sure,okay

without asking why or for what he confidencely agrre
then *crakkk crakkk* i thought few shoot

he:for what?
me:i just tested the camera
he:uhh okay

a little info about this man his name is Kiai Junaedi (Kiai mean`s Big Brother in local language here)
he`s age is 37 his job is tukang parkir,unlike in others countries with parking machine in indonesia we still handle parking in manual way he`s the one that organized car and motorcycle outside the camera shop,..stroke by the violent sun everyday,you can see in his face that heavily burn

thank`s Kiai junaedi,well next time i bought new lenses or camera i`m gonna tested to you,i hope you don`t mind

and i just realized i shot at f 1.8 open wide,i forgot to set it,.usually i shot at f 2.8,but suprisingly this little filmsy plastic lens was quite sharp

and i think i fall in love with this new combo!
light camera and proper lens!

Stranger [14] [Explore!]

when i was riding my bicycle this morning i saw a bad ass looking cat on the road,and i can`t help my cat fetish soul to let this cat enjoy his easy morning,..i put my bicycle,..take my D40 out from my bag,..and get closer in stealth mode,..but this cat was very alert and run,.and at that moment i saw this kid looking at me like i`m a weirdo,he keep looking at me,..then i just ask him

me:little brother,..do you want to take a photo?
he:yes,..*he nodding and look nervous,..nervous enough to keep the paper roll on his chin*
me:*i choose the colorfull background* okey over here

*kleekk kleekkk* <---the sound of my D40 LOL
kinda different from D700 *crakkk! craakk!!*

then i took his picture..

after that i show him the result and he just keep silent and look at me like a weirdo,..then i ask the name his name is reza,..he not even go to kindergarden yet,..his age is 4 years old,..after see the result on my mac i just realized

THIS IS THE MOST NATURAL PORTRAIT OF STRANGER THAT I EVER TOOK!

look at that those eyes gazing!

i promise i will give the copy to him when i ride my bicycle around that area,..he`s must see this portrait,..it will be his best memories of childhood portrait when he grow-up

thanks,.is ok,look at the bright side i have one light and compact camera and brilliant lens that do the job perfectly,..well at least in daylight
