Need your comments and critique please!

I haven't used my camera much recently, but with my commitment, I have no choice! SO here are some shots, would love to have some feedback!

All with 24-70 and D700.

On a side note, I left my camera on the rear seat of the car. Had to brake suddenly and camera + lens went flying on to the floor with a loud THUMP! I thought, "OH ****" ... there goes the lens or body.... to my surprise, still working and nothing broken! PHEW!!!

A lotus pond. A rather boring shot if you ask me, I don't know how else ot make it more "exciting".

for no.1 i keep on thinking the picture will be better if that boy is closer to the right side of the pic. (or maybe left)
for the lotus pond picture.. hm. not sure how to make it more exciting.. but maybe you can just focus on (zoom in) just the lotus pond? play with the reflection maybe

Thank you. The hello kitty wishing board, the majority of the wishes are like "please find me a husband / boyfriend". hahaha
