Hope you guys like them any comments and crits are welcome as always.
Very nice photos DCD!!!

1st photo great composition, great capture.

2nd photo... very nice too. but right now the tree is blocking the ducks behind, if you shoot from a slightly lower position, then the duck will not be blocked by the tree

#3 is my favourite! The lighting, the fog (is it?), makes the scene look awesome. The low key lighting works very well as well

last photo.. hm.. this is a happy photo that gives you warm feeling, daddy is holding her daughters hand. If i were to shoot this photo, i would probably want a brighter photo to match the happy mood? It's just a personal preference as the composition, rim light...etc are all great.
awesome pictures DCD!
Love #3. Really nice shots!
yeah i like #3 a lot too
Thanks guys!

Ah I hadn't thought of the ducks in that 2nd picture. Damn still so many little things I need to look for when composing a shot!

Yeah the 3rd shot has fog in it. It's probably my favorite as well Smile

The last one is an interesting shot. I really like the rim lighting in it. I know what you mean that the photo could also be done high key very well, but I still like this one I thought it was a little bit different.
I still look at it and get a happy feeling Smile

yes i agree it's still a very happy photo and i quite like it too. As i said, it's just a personal preference that i would want to make it a brighter picture.

But isn't that why photography is so much fun? you can choose so many different way to shot the same scene and there is not a definite good or bad way to shoot the scene?
They are all nice! #3 is definitely my favourite!

Indeed! It's always fun going on a shoot with friends and seeing all the amazing things they capture that you wished you had seen!
So many ways to process your photos too. I really want to learn that way you process your photos with the yellowish tinge, I'll have to look it up one day!

Thanks Studio.W!
