Just wondering how do you guys store your camera lenses/gear?

do you guys just leave them in your camera bag or have a special storage box?
dehumidifier cabinet?
Camera bag in cupboard.
Not sure what to use in order to reduce the humidity.
All of my gear goes into a dry cabinet... you will be suprised how much different the lenses/camera feels when it comes out of it the next day.... they actually feel dry...

when i dont use my lenses or camera they straight away go into the box.
just in my camera bag
hm probably need to look at getting a good dry cabinet
I use a sealed hard case, and it contains packets of silica gel to suck the moisture Smile
Just take out the lenses you need in a bag and away you go!
i want a walk in dry cabinet in my room Big Grin
What is the next best thing to a dry cabinet?
Moisture hippo?
take it out and use it everyday? Tongue

but yeah a sealed box with a moisture hippo/big bag of silica gel would be the 2nd best option for us that don't have a dry cabinet

The only not so good thing about sealed box + hippo elephant or hippo dinosaur is that it is normally completely dark inside (while dry cabinet usually has a big window to let sunlight in). And sunlight is important weapon to prevent fungus.

but apart from that it's cool and dry so you get two points out of three
Where can I get a moisture hippo?
from your local hardware shop? or those shops that sell daily cheap items?
