Just read that Panasonic has announced a new 3D video camera and also going to release a 3D lens for their micro43 cameras:

which allows their current camera to shoot in 3D.

So would you guys be interested in it there is one for your camera?

Would probably cost a fortune?

depends how they do it i guess. the simplest implmentation would be just 2 parallel lenses at a small distance apart each project an image to half of the sensor.
this probably won't be too expensive.

I myself think photo is probably better if it stays 2D
