I've been waiting for the Global Shutter for a long time!
Laser/better AF and metering that works in low light would be very important too. D3s already can do 100000+ ISO with a very useable 25600+ ISO. So maybe very soon we'll have 7 digit ISO in the not so distant future. We really need a AF and metering system that can work in pitch black environment

What Yellow has said, global/mirrorless shutter would be a dream it also takes out the limitation of flash sync and a whole lot of other imperfections.
The new D3s and 1D4 has got a reasonably good AF, haven't tried the D3s AF myself but the 1D4 seems to be pretty good but still does not really perform that well in lowlight conditions. Also i would like to see Canon to add in a AF assist light in their camera bodies please.
